He currently advises the Government of Jharkhand, CII, MSME, and NSIC on the implementation of the Startup India initiative in Jharkhand, and serves as a member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) across its National Startup, Eastern, and Jharkhand State Councils.

A metallurgical expert with over 22 years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS), steel manufacturing, and multilocational operations management.

He has held leadership positions at major steel organisations including Essar Steel, Bhushan Steel, Bhushan Power & Steel, and was instrumental in setting up a greenfield stainless steel project for Jindal Stainless in Faridabad, Haryana. Prior to joining ASR, he served as Head of Quality and Process Control at BMW Group.

Director (Compliance)
An expert in Quality Management Systems (QMS) with over 24 years of experience in the steel sector and strong credentials in NABL, IATF, BIS, ISO, and OHSAS audit and certification systems. Certified NDT Level II professional in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Radiographic Testing (RT), with extensive experience at leading steel organisations including Jindal SAW Ltd., Bhushan Steel & Strip Limited, and Bhushan Power & Steel Limited. He previously served as Head of Department (Quality) at Apollo Trocoat Tubes Ltd., Bangalore. He leads ASR Metallurgy's compliance framework, accreditation processes, and quality management systems.

Over 25 years of experience across mining operations, human resources, marketing, and strategic management. Provides advisory support to ASR Metallurgy in organisational development, industry alignment, and strategic initiatives.

Manager (Technical)
Expert in quality control, laboratory operations management, and metallurgical testing. Proficient in chemical and mechanical testing of metals, castings, and welded products — including PQR and WPS qualification testing as per ASME and EN standards. Experienced in gravimetric and volumetric analysis of rocks, minerals, and ores. Well-versed in NDT methods including RT, UT, MT, PT, and VT. Qualified NABL Internal Auditor for ISO/IEC 17025:2017, with additional expertise in BIS accreditation and documentation. He manages day-to-day laboratory operations, testing quality, and accreditation compliance.
K.P. MANDAL
Manager (Non-Destructive Tests)
Over 30 years of experience in non-destructive testing and inspection across steel plants, refineries, pipelines, and power stations. ASNT Level III certified in Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), with additional Level II certifications in Visual Testing (VT) and Eddy Current Testing (ECT). BARC-approved Radiological Safety Officer (RSO) and Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) recognised by the Indian Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ISNT). He leads all NDT operations, radiological safety compliance, and serves as a key faculty member for ASNT 9712 training programmes.

SACHIN VERMA
Senior Engineer (DT)
Specialist in metallographic characterisation with expertise in the detailed study and analysis of metal microstructures. Proficient in operating the Inverted Metallurgical Microscope with Image Analyser, Stereo Microscope, and Optical Emission Spectrometer (OES) for advanced material characterisation, microstructural analysis, and chemical composition testing.

Certified NDT professional with expertise in advanced inspection methods for ensuring structural integrity and material quality. BARC Level I certified in radiation safety and radiographic testing protocols. Focused on defect detection, inspection accuracy, and compliance with international standards across industrial inspection projects.
